"The photos that will be shown in my first exhibition were taken during my stay in Vancouver over the past year. I have expressed the differences I felt between the scenery in Tokyo and Vancouver in my photographs. This past year has been very exciting for me. My time in Vancouver will end this month as I make my way back home to Tokyo. I would like to say “Thank you” to all my friends who have given me so many wonderful memories." - Ryu
